About the TeamDoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager with strong product sense to oversee building out transportation and logistics strategies for long-distance deliveries across the US. This team is in charge of making big bets to enable DoorDash to think outside of the traditional food delivery box and unlock new opportunities. This is a highly cross functional team, which focuses on both zero to one initiatives as well as scaling mid-maturity businesses to help unlock both merchant growth and earnings opportunities for drivers. The team’s charter will span mobile, backend and web components and involves problems like integrating with external transportation aggregators, developing our in-house TMS and capabilities.
