Job Title: RN ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse credential from the respective Board of Nursing Certifications: - Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date - Basic Life Support obtained within 1 month of hire date Must-Have: - Critical thinking skills - Decisive judgment - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Ability to work in a stressful environment Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patients' discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Requires knowledge of critical care procedures and equipment. Must possess certifications in Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support.
