Aquatics Director

- Supervise our campers in a pool setting in a responsible and nurturing manner. The campers' safety and positive experience are of utmost importance.
- Manage and supervise lifeguards and swim instructors.
- Be punctual and report to work on days as agreed. Your attendance is important.
- Adhere to Beansprouts' policies and procedures as outlined in the handbook and other Beansprouts guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the Camp Director throughout the Spring to create and plan swim programs and schedules.
- Implement and oversee swim programs in conjunction with the Camp Director throughout the Summer
- Day shift, 9 am - 12:15 pm
- 3 days a week from 6/29-8/19; Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have at least one season of experience as a camp Aquatics Director at a NYS camp OR at least two seasons of lifeguarding experience
- Have a valid CPR certification or be able to attend a CPR training session prior to the start of camp
- Successfully complete the Lifeguard Supervision and Management training course or be able to complete the course prior to the start of camp
- Must attend an Aquatic Orientation Session through NYC Department of Health (to be scheduled after hiring is complete)
Salary Description
$40-45 per hour, dependent upon experience
