Compensation 

$15–$25 per hour  

Starting pay is based on job-related factors such as RBT certification status, relevant ABA experience, education, previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, and other relevant qualifications and experience.  

At Adapt For Life, your starting rate is just the beginning. We provide multiple opportunities to grow your hourly rate:

• Guaranteed $0.50/hour tenure raise after your first 6 months of employment
• Additional guaranteed $0.50/hour tenure raises every 12 months thereafter (1.5 years, 2.5 years, 3.5 years, etc.)
• Annual merit-based raise opportunities beginning at your 1-year anniversary and annually thereafter, based on performance

What You'll Do

As an RBT/Behavior Technician, you'll work directly with children while receiving guidance and support from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Your day may include:

• Providing 1:1 ABA therapy
• Implementing individualized treatment and behavior plans developed by a BCBA
• Helping learners develop communication, social, academic, self-help, and daily living skills
• Teaching skills through play, structured activities, and everyday interactions
• Collecting data and documenting learner progress
• Supporting learners through challenging behaviors using their individualized behavior plans
• Communicating and collaborating with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development
• Completing required session documentation accurately and on time
• Maintaining client confidentiality and following HIPAA and company policies

The advertised $15–$25/hour pay range represents the potential hourly range for this position. Individual starting pay is determined based on relevant experience, education, certification status, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

1. High School diploma, preferably some college

2. Registered Behavior Technician, or ability to be board certified within three months of hire

3. Applied Behavior Analysis, Medicaid, Waiver and Private Insurance experience preferred

4. Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with people at all levels of the organization

5. Strong leadership experience with great interpersonal and people skills

6. Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills and abilities

7. Demonstrated ability to develop programs that fit strategically with ACSS goals

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be physically able to respond appropriately at all times when working directly with a patient

2. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs

3. Must be able to react quickly to behavior outbursts in children and young adults
