Job Description

Job Summary:
The Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer specializes in performing diagnostic ultrasound scans on high-risk pregnancies, from the first to the third trimester. This role is essential for producing high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of fetal health.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized obstetric ultrasound procedures, including NT, 1st trimester scans, biophysical profiles, and detailed fetal assessments.
Conduct scans for multiple pregnancies such as twins and triplets, utilizing advanced Doppler techniques.
Ensure accurate and timely imaging to support clinical decision-making by physicians and healthcare providers.
Maintain compliance with certification, licensure, and travel regulations, including documentation uploads and verification.
Adhere to department protocols and safety standards, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
Complete required onboarding modules within specified timeframes and maintain all necessary certifications and licenses.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Minimum of 3 years of experience performing obstetric ultrasound scans.
Current BLS certification and valid CA state license.
Demonstrated proficiency in high-risk pregnancy ultrasound procedures, including Doppler imaging and detailed fetal assessments.
Ability to comply with travel, certification, and documentation requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality.
