About the Position

Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Virginia

Start Date: As soon as possible (dependent on EPIC training schedule)

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment; specific shift schedule to be determined by manager; on-call requirement of 3-4 shifts every 6 weeks (8 hours each); must be within 30 minutes/30 miles of facility during call

• EPIC OP TIME (OR module) system utilized; EPIC training provided (accelerated or 2-day class based on experience)

Requirements:

• Active Virginia RN license or Compact license in hand at time of application (pending licenses will not be accepted)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• Level II Trauma center experience preferred, particularly with trauma, neuro, and orthopedic spine cases
• EPIC OP TIME experience preferred; must provide statement of EPIC experience history from the past year
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical or religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31; medical exemptions only)
• Ortho skills and procedural competency
• Must be available for interview and able to meet facility start date requirements
