Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and valid California Special Education Teaching credential (required)
• Classroom experience with structured autism or similar populations, preferably at the kindergarten level
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Commitment to individualized learning plans and positive behavioral support
• Ability to maintain organized documentation and adhere to all compliance standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for kindergarten students with autism
• Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, specialists, and parents to maximize student outcomes
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate diverse learners
• Track student progress, provide regular updates, and participate in IEP meetings

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
