Pharmacist

Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions. Provide clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor medication therapy and recommend adjustments when appropriate. Counsel patients and healthcare staff regarding medications, dosage, administration, and potential side effects. Participate in medication reconciliation and patient-care planning. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.. Required Qualifications: Licensed in the State of Iowa as a Registered Pharmacist – required Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy – required 2–4 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting – required Strong knowledge of medication management, pharmacotherapy, and patient safety.
