Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Per Diem Silvis Center Rehab and Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a per diem basis. About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented COTA to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients. The successful candidate will work closely with our occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote our patients' independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Responsibilities: Assist occupational therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions Implement occupational therapy interventions, such as exercises, activities, and equipment training Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and share best practices Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment outcomes Requirements: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with varying levels of mobility and strength Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Per Diem Benefits: As a per diem employee with Silvis Center Rehab and Care, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule and choose the shifts that best fit your needs.
