Pay: $89,000 - $134,000 annually

Overview

Avento Health is recruiting for a full-time OR Nurse Manager opportunity with a respected acute care hospital in the Cypress area. This leader will oversee daily operating room operations, support staff performance and development, and partner with clinical and operational teams to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced perioperative nurse leader who brings strong clinical judgment, operational oversight, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of the operating room department

Support staffing, scheduling, workflow coordination, and continuity of care

Supervise, coach, and develop perioperative team members

Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary partners to support departmental and organizational goals

Promote patient safety, service excellence, and quality improvement initiatives

Assist with department coverage and provide direct patient care when needed

Support compliance with regulatory standards, nursing practice standards, and internal policies

Contribute to employee engagement, performance management, and team accountability

Required Qualifications

Active Texas RN license or active compact RN license

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required

Basic Life Support certification required

Minimum 2 years of acute care operating room experience

Minimum 3 years of current OR leadership or management experience

Strong knowledge of perioperative operations, staff supervision, and patient care standards

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with robotic surgery programs

Experience supporting neuro surgical services

Professional certification in a clinical specialty or leadership area

Skills
