Front Office Coordinator / Receptionist - Renew Health Addiction Behavioral Health Services Position Summary The Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator serves as the first and most consistent point of contact for patients seeking behavioral health and addiction recovery services. This role is essential to delivering a high-quality patient experience, ensuring individuals feel welcomed, respected, and supported—often during vulnerable and critical moments in their care journey. Beyond front desk responsibilities, this position plays a vital role in the overall success and stability of the organization. The Front Office Coordinator directly impacts patient access to care, continuity of services, and clinical workflow efficiency by managing patient communications, scheduling, registration, and telehealth coordination with accuracy and urgency. This role is also a key driver of organizational performance. By ensuring complete and accurate patient information, insurance verification, and timely documentation, the Front Office Coordinator supports proper billing, reduces claim denials, and contributes to revenue cycle integrity. Additionally, this position influences key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient show rates, intake conversion, appointment utilization, and overall patient satisfaction. Location: Roswell, NM Hourly Pay: Depends on experience Up to 35 hours per week Patient Communication & Customer Service Answer incoming phone calls promptly with professionalism, empathy, and discretion. Meet our patients where they are. Provide compassionate support to individuals seeking addiction recovery and behavioral health services. Respond to patient questions and route calls appropriately. Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, and community partners.

Scheduling & Patient Flow Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments for MAT and IOP. Review insurance eligibility verification and CoB (coordination of benefits), before every visit to ensure insurance is up to date and support reducing insurance denials. Monitor provider schedules to maximize efficiency and patient access. Check patients in and out for in-person appointments. Facilitate telehealth appointments and assist patients with virtual visit access. Monitor no-show appointments and contact patients regarding missed visits or rescheduling needs.
