Demolition/Asbestos General Workers Wanted

We are hiring general demolition/asbestos workers for projects throughout Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out various tasks that involve physical work throughout the workday at construction sites all over Massachusetts.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete demolition tasks.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work during the entire demolition process, including cleaning, sweeping, and assisting more experienced workers to deliver the work to completion.
• Perform in other parts of ADEP operations when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Entry level – no experience required – we will train suitable candidates.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a great respect for safety in the workplace.
• Must be able to work from elevators, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Must be able to work with and around equipment/machinery.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials/equipment (50 – 70+ lbs.).
• Must be able to work in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to use personal protective equipment. (Fit test required for respiratory protection)
• Must have a vehicle or reliable means of transportation to and from the workplace.
• Must be responsible and punctual.
• Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are encouraged to apply.
• Boston city residents are also considered (residency proof is a requirement).
