Role Overview
The Respiratory Care Polysomnographic Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic sleep services to patients of all ages, tailoring approaches to meet specific needs. They are responsible for calibrating and performing quality control on sleep equipment, ensuring accurate reports are prepared promptly for physicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic sleep studies and adjust procedures based on patient age and needs.
- Calibrate and maintain sleep diagnostic equipment, ensuring quality control.
- Prepare accurate reports for medical interpretation in a timely manner.
Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program with RRT or CRT certification.
- Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License and BLS certification.
- Preferred: Polysomnogram training and at least 2 years of sleep study experience.

- Strong understanding of sleep study procedures and equipment.
- Attention to detail in calibration, quality control, and report preparation.
- Ability to adapt approaches for patients of all ages.
