Specific Requirements Be a U.S. Citizen and is 21 years of age or older. Active or Retired Sworn Law Enforcement with current POST Certification. Agency ID Card with CCW Firearms Endorsement (Required). Valid BSIS Armed Security License. Must have at a minimum three (3) years of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer with arrest authority or three (3) years of prisoner handling and detention experience as a Corrections, Detention, or Military Police Officer. Hold a high school diploma or General Equivalency Development (GED) credential. Must be physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods (8+ hours). Strong judgment, conflict de‑de-escalation skills, and emotional intelligence. Have an honorable or general discharge if a Veteran. Must pass a comprehensive background check. Job Description Follow all post orders and safety protocols. Comply with health & safety guidelines (e.g., proper face coverings, agency-approved uniform). Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Make sound decisions independently and respond calmly under pressure. Remain at your designated post unless otherwise directed. Observe and respond promptly to emergencies or suspicious activity. Monitor, patrol, and safeguard assets, patrons, and facilities. Escort employees to and from their vehicles if requested. Assist with line control and hazard awareness as needed. Stay alert and maintain constant awareness of your surroundings. Report concerns or incidents clearly and promptly to Store Leadership.
