Outpatient Mental Health Counselor — Tampa (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT)

The Neuropsychiatric Institute provides comprehensive outpatient Behavioral Health Services for adults, children, and adolescents in the Tampa Bay Area. Utilizing an eclectic and individualized approach, our philosophy emphasizes minimal use of medication and focuses on leveraging what works best for each patient. Our multidisciplinary team includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, and Social Workers, collaborating to deliver personalized, effective care. We are committed to empowering individuals to regain control over their mental health challenges and improve their quality of life. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mental Health Counselor role based at our Tampa, FL location. The counselor will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, develop and implement customized treatment plans, and offer crisis intervention when required. The role also involves conducting assessments, maintaining proper documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for clients. Qualifications Valid Florida license as an LMHC or LCSW. Minimum Master's Degree in a Mental Health discipline. Experience with EMR/EHR systems. Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate client records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
