Source-to-Pay Transformation Consultant

We are currently recruiting Source-to-Pay Transformation Consultants for strategic process consulting opportunities supporting our enterprise clients. This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in procurement transformation, S2P process design, process mapping, and functional consulting across procurement technology platforms. This role will support pre‑implementation phases of large‑scale Source-to-Pay transformations. The work is less focused on hands‑on system configurations and more focused on understanding current‑state processes, mapping future‑state workflows, identifying process gaps, and helping define how procurement processes should be structured across enterprise platforms. As a Source-to-Pay Transformation Consultant, you will help drive workstreams, facilitate client discussions, document process requirements, and support the design of scalable procurement workflows before implementation begins. Regular onsite presence in the NYC area is required, approximately three days per week. Candidates should be local to the tri‑state area or able to relocate/travel as needed. What You Will Do Lead or support workstreams focused on Source-to-Pay process mapping, process design, and process optimization. Partner with client stakeholders to understand current‑state procurement workflows, pain points, gaps, and business requirements. Facilitate discovery sessions, process workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions with client teams. Map current‑state and future‑state processes across areas such as sourcing, contracting, supplier management, requisitioning, purchasing, invoicing, and payments. Translate business process needs into clear documentation, process flows, requirements, and recommendations that can support future implementation. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend practical, scalable solutions. Work across procurement technology platforms such as GEP, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar tools. Collaborate with implementation, data, functional, and client teams to ensure process design is aligned with business and technology goals. Support change management and transformation activities related to procurement process redesign. Depending on experience level, take ownership of workstreams, manage client relationships, and help guide junior team members. What You Should Bring Experience in Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract, procurement transformation, or procurement operations consulting. Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and how they are supported by enterprise technology platforms. Experience with process mapping, process optimization, current-state/future-state design, gap analysis, or operating model work. Exposure to procurement platforms such as GEP, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Procurement, NetSuite, or similar systems. Functional or techno-functional consulting experience, ideally in a client-facing environment. Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and recommend process improvements. Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Experience in consulting, professional services, procurement transformation, or enterprise technology implementation environments. Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, or formal process mapping experience is a plus. Financial services or large enterprise client experience is a plus. Compensation Salary Range: $120,000 – $175,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional Compensation: Eligible for a performance‑based bonus tied to individual and company performance.
