Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shift start times vary: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM | Weekend availability required | On-call limited to coverage for call-offs only

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute hospital Operating Room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required per unit needs
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed
• Participate in holiday coverage, working at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Complete required facility orientation modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted for submission; must be in hand prior to offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute hospital or trauma setting
