Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation center in Lovelock, Nevada. This full-time, onsite position requires a compassionate and experienced professional who will play a pivotal role in helping our patients recover mobility and enhance their quality of life. As part of our team, you will work closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and support their journey to regain optimal function.

Work Environment

You will be working in a collaborative and supportive environment alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our rehabilitation center is designed to foster teamwork, where every team member contributes to promoting the best outcomes for our patients. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for an ideal work-life balance. With an emphasis on continuing education and professional development, Gotham Enterprises Ltd encourages its therapists to pursue further training and certification

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs to develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific goals and conditions.
• Guide and execute therapy sessions that incorporate effective therapeutic techniques and exercises, seeing 2-3 patients per hour.
• Utilize various manual therapy and exercise modalities to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Document patient progress and treatment interventions using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the benefits of therapy while motivating them to engage actively in their own recovery.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Encourage the adoption of healthier lifestyles by developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor patient outcomes to establish a clear understanding of progress and set realistic expectations.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and promote cohesive patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients dealing with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our diverse client base ranges from active adults to retired individuals, each seeking to regain their physical abilities. We prioritize understanding the unique backgrounds and aspirations of our patients, focusing on holistic approaches to care that take into account both physical and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in Nevada, with no disciplinary actions.
• Excellent manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Experience and confidence in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting care services.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated success in developing individualized therapy programs that drive patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of current trends and research in physical therapy practices, specifically in orthopedics.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
