The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to completing projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.What We Offer:$18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience40 hours per weekMedical, Dental, Vision plansFree Basic Life InsuranceShort- and Long-Term Disability401k MatchCompany CellphonePaid HolidaysPaid Time offWhat You'll Do:Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial structuresInstall waste, water, vent, and gas piping systemsRead and interpret blueprints, building plans, and rough sketchesCollaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals on job sitesRespond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergenciesPerform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systemsInstall plumbing fixtures and related equipmentPerform light construction tasks as needed, including carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and basic electrical workMaintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each jobFollow all safety procedures and building code requirementsWhat You'll Bring:Skilled in the use of plumbing hand and power toolsStrong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and rough drawingsFamiliarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper piping systemsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervisionBasic math skills, including measurement conversionsPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required1–3 years of experience as a journeyman plumber preferredState plumbing license preferredValid driver's license requiredMust have own hand toolsWorking with our Company:Knights Mechanical is a Mechanical Contractor and part of Ascension Property Services (APS) a nationwide group of specialty trade contractors with decades of experience in nearly all types of construction, including commercial, healthcare, educational, hospitality, manufacturing, and institutional.
