Position Overview

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining each procedure with kindness
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures with precision and manage patient records within the electronic health system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
