Manager of Cultureware Production and Facilities

This role combines operational leadership with hands‑on responsibility for Cultureware Production and facility operations within a regulated biotech environment. The position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective production conditions while continuously developing people, processes, and infrastructure in support of better health solutions. Location: This is an onsite role in our Asland, MA office. What You Will Accomplish Together with Us: Lead daily Cultureware Production operations and define production schedules aligned with cost, quality, and time targets Oversee procurement of raw materials, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maintenance of production machinery Train, mentor, and support staff members to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations Manage and maintain Bio‑Tech and manufacturing facility systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, and laboratory equipment, in compliance with strict Quality Control guidelines Coordinate build‑out and repurposing of laboratory space to support evolving company objectives Serve as Vice Chairman of the Safety Committee, including instituting a Hazard Communication Policy and identifying and correcting safety deficiencies to OSHA standards Conduct annual fire safety training and manage eye wash stations and safety showers across the facility Reduce facility operating costs by optimizing contractor usage, performing repairs inhouse where appropriate, and promoting proper equipment use to minimize downtime What will convince us: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, or equivalent 5+ years of experience in Cultureware Production and Facilities Operations within a regulated manufacturing or biotech environment OSHA 10 certification Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Alignment with core values of Sustainability, Openness, and Enjoyment What We Offer: Personal and Professional Development: Mentoring, leadership programs, internal seminar offerings Worklife Balance: Paid vacation, sick time, corporate holidays and community service day; as well as flexible work schedules Making an Impact Right from the Start: Comprehensive onboarding, including a virtual online platform Welcoming Culture: Mutual support, team spirit and international collaboration; communities on numerous topics such as “Coaching”, “Agile Working” and a “Businesswomen’s Network” Health & Well Being: Wide selection of health and well‑being support such as a variety of medical plans to choose from, dental, vision, EAP, and other wellness programs.
