Registered Nurse (RN) - Whole House Float ICU/PCU/MSWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This is a Whole House Float position covering ICU, PCU, and MS units. Candidates must be comfortable working across all three specialties and must have experience with nurse-to-patient ratios of at least 1:5.Scheduling DetailsContract Length: 13 weeksShift Details: 3x12s, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AMCharting: Experience with EPIC is requiredFloating: Staffing needs are re-evaluated every 4 hours; travelers may float 2-3 times per shiftWeekend Requirement: May be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week blockHoliday Requirement: Must work one holiday during the 13-week contractQualificationsLicenses & Certifications: Must possess ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Pending licenses accepted if from a non-compact state.Clinical Skills Required:Proficient in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administrationExperienced with PICC line management, central line care, and arterial line managementSkilled in non-invasive airway support, including nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilator managementCapable of managing chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac) and monitoring cardiac patientsExperienced in administering continuous IV sedation and titrating cardiac and vasoactive dripsBackground: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a large Level 1 or Level 2 facilityUnit DetailsICU Average Ratio: 2:1PCU Average Ratio: 5:1MS Average Ratio: 6:1 (may flex up to 7:1)Additional InformationAccepting first-time travelersLocal candidates are welcomed, following radius rulesAll time-off requests, block scheduling, and special requests must be included at submissionCall-off policy allows for 1 shift cancellation every 2 weeksClient Details State VA
