RN - MedSurg/Tele jobs-in Charlotte,NC,US

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg/Telemetry patients, including ED boarding cases

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (no tele tech support)

Perform neuro assessments and support stroke care (NIHSS)

Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage cardiac drips, heparin, and blood products

Handle complex patient populations, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and behavioral health cases

Perform clinical procedures such as PIV insertion, trach care, chest tubes, NGT, and drain management

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists

Adapt quickly to floating across multiple units and regional facilities

Requirements

Active RN license

Minimum 2 years Med-Surg/Telemetry experience

Strong preference for high-acuity or ED hold experience

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Comfortable with floating across facilities (including mid-shift floating)

Must live 50+ miles from facility (travel requirement)

First-time travelers considered on a case-by-case basis
