About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief of Staff to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and Chief of Staff, with a focus on strategic and operational tasks. This includes managing the CEO's calendar, inbox, and travel, as well as preparing for meetings and handling special projects. The ideal candidate is a high-agency individual with a background in a high-stakes EA role or operations position, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder responsibilities with discretion and efficiency. Key responsibilities for the Deputy Chief of Staff include owning the CEO's schedule, preparing him for meetings, and managing all aspects of his travel. The role also involves providing administrative support for special projects, fundraising, and corporate development. The candidate should be adept at building presentations, have a strong business sense, and be capable of working in fast-paced, high-growth environments. While not mandatory, experience in a venture-backed startup, defense, aerospace, or high-growth technology company is preferred. The role requires a steady, calm presence under pressure, a low-ego, direct communication style, and the ability to learn quickly in unfamiliar domains.
