About the Role

The Checkers & Rally's brands were started 40 years ago from the idea that fast food could be done better. As a member of the Brand Marketing Team, this position is instrumental in bringing that vision to life. The Assistant Product Marketing Manager plays a key role in identifying consumer insights, ideating to develop new product ideas, managing cross-functional projects, executing strategic marketing plans, and launching new products and platforms to drive brand relevance and sales growth. Successful candidates will be passionate about the consumer, collaborative, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What You'll Do (Core Impact Areas)

• Leads the planning and execution of ideations and product development projects in partnership with the R&D team and agency partner.
• Crafts initial product descriptions and white paper concepts based on strategic insights for new product and value deals.
• Assists in the development + execution of annual strategic growth plans for all product and value platforms and other growth initiatives in support of the overall brand strategy.
• Coordinates the timelines and processes associated with executing the product development and testing processes.
• Gathers key project inputs from key cross-functional partners such as R&D, Advertising, Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Consumer Insights, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT and Agency Partners and track and report on progress.

What You Bring (Must-haves)

Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a related field

3-5 years of marketing project management experience in retail, restaurant or consumer packaged goods is required
