About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Prominent Hill site in South Australia. As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the production activities and schedule within the production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality are maintained at all times. The Production Coordinator will work on a roster of 8 days on and 6 days off FIFO (from Adelaide or Port Augusta).
In this role you will:
- Coordinate and monitor the day-to-day production activities within the plant
- Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and deadlines
- Monitor and optimise production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
- Manage +2 week work management via SAP
- Shutdown isolation planning
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and coordinate routine maintenance activities
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and field leadership to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Analyse production data and provide reports on performance and improvements
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and achievement of production goals
About You
- Proven experience in an execution role within the Mineral Processing industry.
- Solid knowledge of production processes, equipment, and production principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Proactive communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
