ER - Registered Nurse – Nights
Start Dates: 8/19, 9/2
Orientation Dates: 8/19, 9/2
Orientation Schedule:  Orientation will occur across various shifts based on preceptor availability and regardless of final shift.

• Must be able to pass a rhythm test with a minimum passing score of 80% - max 3 attempts. Study Guide is located under the child company page in the files section.

• 3 x 12's
• Shift: Nights
• Float Requirements:
• On Call Requirement: NO
• Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, LA Fire Card, PALS
• Preferred Certs:  CEN, CPEN, ENPC, TNCC
• License: Active CA RN License
• If CA License is expired, it will need to be renewed
• If applying for CA License, please call the senators office to expediate the application
• Experience:
• Must have experience: 2 years of ED RN Experience Required
• Pediatric (Peds) experience
• IV insertion skills
• Patient care management experience
• Looking for candidates interested in staying long-term
• Nurse must have Clinical Capabilities and be able to Treat patients onsite
• Types of patients: Stroke patients, General emergency cases, Psychiatric patients (4-bed psych area)
• Patients to be Transferred Out of ED: STEMI patients (not a STEMI receiving center), Major bleeding/neurosurgical cases (no neurosurgeon on site), Cardiac catheterization cases (no cath lab)
• Tenured, highly supportive staff
• Strong teamwork and willingness to help
• Excellent traveler retention—many travelers extend for a year or longer
• Approximately 99% of travelers want to stay long-term
• Great staffing ratios
• Staff consistently receive breaks and lunch coverage
• Travel Experience preferred, however, not required
