Lead MRI Technologist

The Lead MRI Technologist serves as a clinical expert for the assigned territory and as a primary trainer for new hires. Performs scanning responsibilities.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Performs clinical scansTrains new hires and conducts ongoing reviews on clinical competencies.Assists with day to day unit operational issues.Works with team and customer on protocol development and review.Position Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT required.State license, if applicable required.CPR certification required - BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association Kaiser onlyValid state driver’s license, as applicable required.Minimum 3 years technologist experience.Ability to work at several locations.Strong customer service skills.Organizational and multi-tasking skills.Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.Local travel may be required.The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.All candidates who accept an offer for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.Physical Requirements:The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field.
