Job Description: The Cool Clubs Fitter at Golfdom is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy, which has made Worldwide Golf what it is today. "Sure No Problem" means putting the customer first, and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience. The Cool Clubs Fitter is responsible for performing golf club fittings and related assignments for a wide range of players including high handicap customers, better playing amateurs, VIP guests, and tour players. Responsibilities include: Demonstrate excellent customer service, keeping in mind that the customer’s last phase of their shopping experience is with the cashier. Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system. Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed. Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Ownership of all aspects of the club fitting process (customer service, technology, sales, etc.) Fit all customers using the good/better/best fitting process and make proper club recommendations Accurately document all fitting information in fitting software Follow Through: Remain in contact with customers during the build process when necessary Collaborate with builders on fitting/building challenges Address customer concerns and resolve them promptly to the customers satisfaction Order Tracking: Fluently understand order tracking system Enter all orders and pertinent information into order tracking system upon placing an order Provide order updates to customers as needed Update system as needed (pick-ups, notes, etc.) Club Repair: Loft and Lie adjustments for customers Re-gripping clubs for store customers when able Assist build shop with lite club repair when able Front of House: Greet customers who enter the store Answer phones and manage personal voicemail box Book Fittings and help manage fitting calendar Help Customer Service Rep manage pick-up closet Assist with general cleanliness of the store Other Duties: Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge by learning about new technologies and products Keep individual desk clean and organized Utilize all safety protocols and equipment as set forth by the employee handbook and company policy’s Required Job Skills Knowledge of golf equipment and shafts Understanding of ideal golf ball launch characteristics General knowledge of club repair Proficient computer skills in the following Microsoft Office POS Experience Recommended Job Skills Experience with TrackMan or similar launch monitor technology Cool Clubs and Golfdom are part of the Worldwide Golf family—a growing, 50-year-old business with over 95 stores across more than 25 states—which includes well-renowned golf retail and e-commerce brands, including: Roger Dunn Golf Shops | Edwin Watts Golf | The Golf Mart | Golfers' Warehouse | Van's Golf Shops | Uinta Golf | Las Vegas Golf Superstore | Golfdom | Mike's Golf Outlet | Golf and Ski Warehouse | Cool Clubs | Worldwidegolf.com | Budgetgolf.com | Globalgolf.com | Getclubs.com CA residents: Please reviewour California Applicant Privacy NoticeHERE .
