Job Overview A law firm seeks a Resource Attorney for the Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice in Houston, TX. The position offers flexibility for remote work. Duties Develop and update the corporate resource plan in collaboration with practice leadership. Create and maintain precedent collections, forms, and other practice content. Communicate relevant legal and market developments promptly. Analyze market trends and optimize the firm's experience database. Enhance collaboration across attorneys and offices using communication tools. Improve workflows and matter management processes with technology solutions. Design and deliver training programs for internal and client-facing purposes. Draft client alerts and practice updates related to EGVC developments. Collaborate with various departments to promote tools and resources. Participate in meetings to share best practices and align initiatives. Requirements Experience as a Corporate attorney, ideally with Emerging Growth or Venture Capital experience. Understanding of attorney workflows and resource needs in a corporate practice. Advanced legal drafting and research skills with attention to detail. Project management skills and ability to improve processes efficiently. Interest in practice support, technology, and change management. Familiarity with legal technologies, including document automation and AI tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education J.D. Certifications Admission to practice in the state of office location. Skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in legal technologies and data analytics.
