Termite Technician Trainee

Overview Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms. They are the first line of defense in preserving customers' properties and providing inspections, prevention, and treatment services. Responsibilities Identify customer termite problems and understand termite behavior to determine remedial steps. Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines and standard practices. Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures per schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Communicate critical conditions and discuss procedures and structural modifications with customers. Verify job specifications are appropriate for each work order. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided. Interact with customers and explain services provided. Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp, and dusty locations. Prepare job sites for treatment, enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders. Work up to 20 ft on a ladder and in small confined spaces. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus. Clean shaven face for safety reasons. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed. Ability to work on roofs and high areas, with experience in general labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, or attic work a plus. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurement units). Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
