Job Title: Process Operator / Wastewater Technician

Location: Pendleton, IN

Schedule: Full-Time | Hourly

Friday - Sunday | 6:00am - 6:00pm
Overtime available

Compensation: $23-26/hour

What You'll Do: As a Process Operator / Wastewater Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining systems used to treat and process wastewater. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely while maintaining quality and environmental standards.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to monitor and respond to system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

· Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including filtration and processing equipment

· Maintain and support operation of the Superfilter and related systems

· Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues

· Monitor system readings (pH levels, flow rates, etc.) and respond to changes or abnormalities

· Track and record operational data accurately

· Assist with cleaning and sanitation processes (CIP) of equipment

· Support other production or plant operations as needed

· Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures

What We're Looking For:

· Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required

· Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor systems and identify issues

· Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

· Ability to follow processes and respond to changing conditions

· Comfortable working in a production or industrial environment

Preferred (but not required):

· Experience with wastewater treatment or industrial processing equipment

· Experience with pumps, valves, filtration systems, or similar equipment

· Familiarity with PLC or HMI systems

· Experience in manufacturing, processing, or plant operations

· Operating and monitoring equipment and systems throughout the shift

· Standing and moving for extended periods

· Working in a non-climate-controlled environment

· Exposure to noise, odors, and industrial conditions
