Local Class A CDL Driver — Home Nightly

If you are looking for a local driving gig where you can pull down a heavy, reliable paycheck without missing out on your life at home, this dedicated slot is a great option. We have immediate openings for solo drivers on a local retail account based right out of Phoenix. You get a steady, predictable routine, regular local runs, and you get to sleep in your own bed every single night.

Just a heads-up on this one: the account requires you to hit the ground running completely on your own from day one. Because of that, we can't take trainees or teams on this fleet—you have to be an experienced solo driver.

The Pay & Labor Profile

You start out at a flat $20.00 an hour for all on-duty driving and short-haul runs.

You get an extra $20.00 for every single stop you finish.

Every time you unload a trailer, you add a flat $75.00 unload pay directly onto your clock.

Weekly Average: Most guys on this fleet clear a steady $1,600 gross every single week by stacking those incentives.

The Labor: This is a highly physical, active delivery job. You'll be handling driver-assisted live unloads using a trailer liftgate. The freight is mostly pre-loaded carts (about 80%), with the remaining 20% requiring you to stack freight onto carts for store delivery. You must be completely fine working physically through those hot Arizona summer days.

Your Weekly Schedule

Home Daily: 100% Home Nightly. Finish your daily loops and head straight back to your own house every shift.

The Shifts: This account runs around the clock to keep the stores stocked, so you just need to be flexible enough to handle a mix of both day and night operational windows.

Weekend dispatch is part of the normal schedule rotation to keep the pipeline moving. On the upside, you are guaranteed to be completely off on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

The Route: You will be running local and intrastate loops, servicing dedicated retail locations across major cities throughout Arizona.

What It Takes to Get Hired

Hiring Radius: You just need to live within 75 miles of the Phoenix terminal hub area.

Experience Track: Firm requirement of at least 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience. No trainees or entry-level drivers can be accepted for this specific fleet.

Credentials: Must hold a valid Class A CDL license and a current DOT Medical Card. No extra endorsements are needed.

Safety & Background: We are looking for a clean overall driving record and a solid, reliable employment history.

Screening: Must successfully pass a mandatory hair and urine drug screening.
