Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience License: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm required Must-Have: - Epic experience required - Must work every other weekend - Flex Shift available (17:00 - 05:30 / 19:00 - 07:30) Description: Applicants do not need a license in hand to apply. However, they must obtain the required license before the contract begins. Travelers will be the first to float as needed. Float assignments may occur within the specialty clusters. Assignments will focus on supporting nursing care teams in various units, including high-risk respiratory units. Travelers may be assigned to different campuses, all within a reasonable distance. Every other weekend and holiday work is required. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to two shifts due to low census during the contract. Travelers must be available for floating without restrictions or special requests. Previous experience in charge roles and familiarity with patient ratios is an advantage. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse patient care environment. Daily patient visits total approximately 250. The Emergency Room is equipped to handle a wide range of patient diagnoses including trauma and critical care situations. Team collaboration is essential, with interdisciplinary support services available.
