Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter , a problem solver , and works well both independently and in a team-oriented environment . This role involves the disassembly and reassembly of gearboxes , with a preference for candidates experienced in bearing setup and machine tool equipment repair .

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and reassemble gearboxes with precision and care
• Set and align bearings (preferred but not required)
• Lift and move parts or equipment weighing 50-75 lbs
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete repairs and maintenance
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Accurately document work completed and parts used

Competencies:

Preferred

• Familiarity with machine tool equipment repair
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work on-call as needed
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Works well under pressure and in collaborative settings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Education and Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
