Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with K-12 populations and diverse abilities preferred
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies within special education settings
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for students with behavioral challenges

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students in a Behavioral Program environment
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educational teams, including teachers and support staff, to address student needs
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt interventions to support a positive learning environment and promote communication development
• Offer insights and support to families and caregivers as appropriate
