Attorney - Environmental

A highly respected boutique litigation firm is seeking a talented Environmental Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco office. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of environmental law, consumer protection, and complex litigation, supporting a broad and sophisticated client base. The Opportunity: This role offers hands‑on experience advising and defending clients in high‑stakes environmental and regulatory matters. Associates are given early responsibility, including client interaction and substantive case work, while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Defend clients in environmental and consumer protection litigation, including Proposition 65, false advertising, and unfair competition claims Handle matters involving property contamination and environmental compliance Work on citizen suits under federal environmental statutes, including the Clean Water Act Conduct legal research and provide practical guidance on environmental and consumer product regulations Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda Manage discovery and assist with case strategy Qualifications: 2–6 years of relevant litigation and/or regulatory experience Experience with Proposition 65, environmental compliance, or consumer protection laws strongly preferred Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously Self‑starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Active membership in the California Bar #J-18808-Ljbffr The Los Angeles County Bar Association - LACBA
