$20–$23/hour based on experience and skillset

Anticipated schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week

Employee Pet Area – We have plenty of space for you to bring your own pets to work!

Clean, prepare, and sterilize surgical equipment and instrument packs (gas sterilization certification provided)

Run CT scans from start to finish following department protocols

Obtain orthopedic and standard radiographs

Safely restrain patients for examinations and anesthetic procedures

Set up and break down the surgery department for daily procedures

Assist with surgical case preparation and patient care

Accurately obtain and record patient vital signs

Assist with appointments and patient history collection

Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and client service teams

Maintain flexibility to support a rotating schedule and evolving patient needs

Previous veterinary assistant experience preferred

Surgical, anesthesia, radiology, or specialty hospital experience is a plus

Strong patient handling and restraint skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Friendly, compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor

Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service

Positive attitude and desire to contribute to a collaborative hospital culture

Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
