Practice includes 1 full time physician, 1 PRN physician and 5 APP’s Practice setting: Outpatient Call structure: None at this time Lead comprehensive physicals and critical health assessments for our client population of first responders ensuring their optimal safety and readiness for service. Create specialized, long-term health strategies focused on mitigating the unique risks faced by first responders, such as job-related cancer and chronic conditions, to improve their long-term well-being. Conduct essential medical assessments for pre-employment applicants and current employees returning to safety-sensitive work, providing expert opinions to guarantee a safe and effective workforce Provide expert education and counseling on risk assessment and disease prevention, empowering patients to proactively manage their health and reduce long-term risk Employed position within a nonprofit health system Board Eligible or Board Certified Family or Internal Medicine Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration About the Practice Enjoy a standard Monday-Friday work week (8:00am-4:30 PM) Robust support team that includes 4 Psychologists, Physical Therapist and an Exercise Physiologist team Collaborative demeanor with commitment to high quality patient care Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
