Job Title The ideal candidate will be friendly, devoted, curious, and have a strong passion for food with a particular interest in baking and pastry. The job description includes: Following recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen management Setting up station according to established expectations Executing production from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to the production and management of all in-house baked items and pastry production Working collaboratively with BOH staff and FOH staff Maintaining cleanliness of all BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas Participating in deep cleaning of BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas Following set schedule and giving appropriate notification for tardiness and absence Conforming to Department of Health requirements to run an A-level kitchen Salary: $22.66 - $23.69/hour Qualifications include: General knife handling, food safety & sanitation knowledge Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-energy environment High volume restaurant or bakery experience preferred Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly and constantly improve Able to follow recipes without direct supervision Strong time management skills and able to execute dishes consistently and effectively Full availability (including weekends) About Auberge Collection: Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs.
