About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an urgent 3-day assignment in California, commencing Nov 16, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, focusing on co-managing ECMO patients with ICU providers, ensuring delivery responsibility for high-acuity cases, covering the MFM service, and assisting with urgent obstetrical needs, including C-sections and other procedures on the unit.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Co-manage ECMO patients with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians and ICU providers, serving as primary decision-makers for complex cases.
• Assume delivery responsibility for the highest-acuity patients, with duties varying by clinical setting, including CVICU and ICU deliveries.
• Primarily cover the MFM service and its patients.
• Be available for urgent obstetrical needs and emergencies on the unit.
• Assist other OB providers with C-sections and other obstetrical procedures.
• Collaborate with MFM and ICU teams for rare pregnant and postpartum patients requiring ECMO-level care.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
