Medical Biller Peoria, AZ Overview Our practice in Peoria is seeking a Medical Biller to manage billing claims, collections, and insurance follow-up. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full revenue cycle in a specialty practice setting. Position Offers Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Competitive pay: $26–28 per hour (DOE) Health, vision, and dental insurance 401(k) Retirement savings plan with match Paid Time Off (PTO) plus a paid day off for your birthday Sick Time Off (STO) Paid holidays Productivity bonus Key Responsibilities Upload Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents to internal systems Submit and manage billing claims Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries Manage patient collections Review and verify provider-submitted coding for accuracy Follow up on outstanding claims and submit appeals as needed Qualifications Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within a specialty practice Strong experience with billing, collections, claims follow-up and appeals, and insurance verification, including EOB interpretation and coordination of benefits Solid understanding of revenue cycle management, from charge capture through collections Certification in medical billing or a related field preferred (e.g., CPB); training in medical terminology a plus Why Join Us Join a practice where your billing expertise directly supports smooth revenue cycle operations, backed by strong compensation and comprehensive benefits.
