4114 S Peoria St Chicago, IL, 60609 Tel: View phone number on click.appcast.io View email address on click.appcast.io The die-cut operator is responsible for the preparation, adjustment and operation of the cutting machines to produce high-quality folding cartons according to company standards. It ensures safety, accuracy and productivity while meeting production deadlines. Key Responsibilities Prepare and configure the cutting machine according to job specifications. Read, interpret and understand production records. Operate, analyze and adjust cutting dies to required specifications. Ensure proper maintenance, storage and storage of cutting dies to maintain their integrity and durability. Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy of cuts. Perform regular quality checks and identify defects. Provide basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of the machine. Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow. Document production activities and report any technical incidents or problems. Apply all internal procedures and occupational health and safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment. Any other related tasks. Qualifications and Experience Relevant experience in printing or folding carton production. Knowledge of cutting machines and materials used. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail and rigor in quality control. Ability to work standing and handle heavy materials. Good communication and team player. Organizational skills and respect for deadlines.
