As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.What you'll do:Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Clover's business goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability across the payments spaceMaintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.What you need to have: 10+ years of experience in software development8+ years of experience in Java, Spring5+ years of experience in Micro Service design and implementation.5+ years of experience REST api design5+ years of experience in handling the large scale Distributed system4+ years of experience in SQL databases, involving design of tables, optimizing queries3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experienceExperience that would be great to have:Experience in the financial services industryVisa Sponsorship:You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
