We are one of Georgia’s premier equipment trailer service and repair centers seeking a new trailer technician for our amazing team in either Mableton or Cumming, GA. This role can be either an experienced tech with many years of experience or a junior position with more training needed. Higher pay band than stated for someone more experienced who can hit the ground running.
Skills required:
- Replace and fit axles, bearings, brakes and hubs (3.5k, 5, 7k, 8k 10k etc)
- Wiring and electrical abilities including diagnostics (lighting, 12V power, brakes)
- Welding experience (mild steel / MIG, and some aluminum)
- Repairing trailers (decking, fenders, siding, tongue / coupler, interiors, gates)
- Spanish speaking a plus
- DOT certified a plus
Other:
- Creative mind for repair workarounds when needed
- Amazing attention to detail and pride in work product
- Will need to show evidence of reliability
- Team player - willingness to help others in other teams when needed
- Good customer relationship skills with a ‘can do attitude’
- Ability to train others as the company grows
- Monthly tool allowance provided after 6 months of employment
