Outpatient Urology Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Urology to join our outpatient clinic. This is a fast-paced environment that requires expertise in catheter management and the ability to handle multiple patients efficiently. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in emergency, pre/post-operative care, day surgery, or ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing urological procedures.
• Efficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Manage and assist in catheterizations and other urological interventions.
• Perform vital sign assessments and document patient conditions accurately.
• Conduct follow-up phone calls to ensure patient satisfaction and recovery.
• Educate patients on self-catheterization and other relevant practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid WA or Compact Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Urology or related field.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).

Schedule

This is a Day 5x8-Hour position (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM) with no weekends or on-call requirements.
