About the Role:

Functional Training Services Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Job Coach to join our team in Columbus, OH! Must be open to working a varied schedule depending on the needs of the individuals you are serving; this can include evenings, weekends, and split-shifts. Shift differential is paid for evening and weekend times. COMPANY PAID benefits for the employee: medical, dental, vision, life. Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one job coaching and support to clients in workplace settings
• Develop individualized employment plans and vocational goals with clients
• Assist clients with job readiness skills including resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette
• Collaborate with employers to facilitate job placements and ensure client success on the job
• Monitor client progress and document outcomes in accordance with program requirements
• Provide on-site job training and support during client onboarding with new employers
• Coordinate with case managers, families, and support teams to ensure holistic client care

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in job coaching, vocational rehabilitation, retail, food service or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and encourage clients
• Understanding and ability to use laptops and programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Ability to work independently in community and workplace environments
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment preferred
• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred

Must be able to pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screen.
