GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Analyzes and interrogates pacemakers, ICDs and implantable loop recorders across the cardiology practices. Supports the telemonitoring program by reviewing the data and maintaining software application.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of pacer equipment. (20%) Analyzes and re-programs all pacemakers with various programs. (20%) Performs independent quarterly transtelephonic pacemaker checks. (15%) Is responsible for all data through software application (15%) Reprograms devices as ordered by the physician. (10%) Maintains follow up appointments for pacemaker and ICD patients. (10%) Conducts family and patient education on care of pacemaker/ICD's. (5%) Performs EKGs as needed. (5%) Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
