TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a high acuity and high pace environment, preferably with 5 years of high-risk experience. License: Must hold a current compact license. Certifications: Required: BLS, NRP. Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate. Must-Have: Candidates must have current supervisory references. Candidates must pass a clinical review. Candidates must be able to circulate and provide newborn care, including eye care and vitamin K injections. Candidates must float to postpartum/antepartum. Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Description: Candidates are required to have at least 3 years of experience in high-risk settings. The role includes functioning as a Baby Nurse during delivery and continuing care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum. Candidates should have experience with electronic fetal monitoring. Average daily census is 15 patients, with approximately 500-600 deliveries per month. The unit includes 31 beds and operates with a high risk/high volume focus. All staffing is in accordance with established guidelines. Special procedures and unit details include high-risk, high-volume labor and delivery. Candidates should be able to perform assessments and administer medications like Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate. Pre-approved time off will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Completion of required education modules is expected prior to the start. References covering the last 3 years are needed during the compliance process. Candidates must have strong experience in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.
