In this role, you will provide on-site maintenance and light repair services to customers at their home, workplace, or place of business — delivering dealership-quality service with unmatched convenience.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician who values independence, direct customer interaction, and high standards of workmanship. You will represent Best Ford in the field and serve as the face of our service department — a role that is as much about people as it is about vehicles.ResponsibilitiesTravel to customer locations in a fully equipped Best Ford mobile service vanPerform light-duty maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, filter and bulb replacements, fluid top-offs, and basic diagnosticsPerform multi-point inspections and thoroughly document findingsCommunicate directly with customers to explain services performed, answer questions, and provide updatesMaintain accurate service records and invoices using mobile service softwareKeep the mobile van stocked, clean, and service-ready for each day’s scheduleRepresent Best Ford with professionalism and courtesy at every service stopFollow all manufacturer repair guidelines and safety proceduresQualifications2+ years of experience in automotive maintenance or repairHigh school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certifications preferredFord experience and factory certifications are a plusValid driver’s license with a clean driving record requiredStrong communication and customer service skillsComfortable working independently and managing a daily field scheduleOrganized, detail-oriented, and proactive in all aspects of the roleMust be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditionsWhy Join Best FordWe invest in our technicians through Ford factory training, certification programs, and clear paths for advancement within our growing service department.
